Gordon Mortensen, M.D.
Gordon Mortensen, MD, offers comprehensive and personalized care in Pain
Management. He is thoroughly skilled in all of the latest interventional
procedures to manage chronic pain.
For the past 10 years, Dr. Mortensen has been active in the St. Luke's Pain
Management Center and served as its Medical Director from 1995 to 1999.
Currently, he is the Medical Director of the Associated Surgical and Medical
Specialists Ambulatory Surgery Center in Franklin, Wisconsin.
In 1981, Dr. Mortensen earned his medical degree from Wayne State Medical
School in Detroit, Michigan. Immediately following, he completed a Family
Practice residency in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 1984, he relocated to the
Milwaukee area where he practiced Family Medicine for three years prior to
undergoing a residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of
Wisconsin. Dr. Mortensen is certified in pain medicine through the American
Board of Pain Medicine. In his leisure, he enjoys sailing, skiing, gardening
and keeping bees.
