Vijay Singh, MD is the Medical Director of Pain Diagnostics Associates and the Niagara Health Center (Ambulatory Surgery Center), located in Niagara, Wisconsin, providing interventional pain management services to the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin area since 1989.

Dr. Singh has published one of the pioneering articles related to IDET and percutaneous disc decompression (plasma discectomy) using Coblation®. He is co-author of 58 scientific papers in peer reviewed journals and numerous chapters in text books for interventional pain specialists, including: Interventional Techniques in Chronic Spinal Pain, 2007; Pain Management, 2007; Weiner’s Pain Management, A Practical Guide for Clinicians, 2006; Pain Management, 2005; Principles of Documentation, Billing, Coding, and Practice Management for the Interventional Pain Professional, 2004; Interventional Pain Medicine Documentation, Coding & Billing A Practical Guide for Physicians and ASCs, 2002; and Interventional Pain Management: Low Back Pain—Diagnosis and Treatment, 2002.

Dr. Singh has been an invited speaker and faculty for many national and international continuing education meetings and conferences including: EuroSpine 2002 in France and EuroSpine 2003 in Czech Republic, World Spine II 2003 in Chicago, World Congress 2000 of Minimally Invasive Spinal Medicine and Surgery, Las Vegas, and annual and semi-annual ASIPP meetings and cadaver workshops.
Dr. Singh has been involved with ASIPP (American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians) since its inception and serves on the Board of Directors as a Lifetime Member. He is past president of ASIPP, President of the State of Wisconsin chapter of ASIPP and on the Planning Board and Board of the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians (ABIPP). ABIPP is actively working to raise the bar for Interventional Pain Physicians by setting higher standards using more stringent credentialing criteria.
Dr. Singh's personal and professional goals are to share the knowledge of this emerging field with the world by training and educating other professionals, educating policy makers to ensure patient's continued access to interventional pain management and inspire the younger generation to pursue careers in the life science field.
