Dr. Birgiolas received his medical degree from St. George University in Grenada, West Indies. He went on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Birgiolas is known as a skilled, compassionate physician who is willing to work with his patients to maximize their functional level and help manage their pain. He uses his expertise and compassion to put his patients at ease and listens closely combined with a thorough examination. When he is able to locate the source of the pain, he develops a plan specifically tailored to each individual patient.

Dr. Birgiolas spent a year of interventional training to specifically diagnose and treat a multitude of pain disorders. He stays up to date with the latest techniques available and the procedures which he performs are minimally invasive, safe and have low risk profiles with proven benefits. His overall goal is to help patients achieve a more active lifestyle and relieve and manage their pain.
Apart from his professional career, he enjoys taking advantage of the abundant outdoor activities in Northeastern Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula of Michigan alongside his wife. They enjoy cycling in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. Dr. Birgiolas has been on staff at Spine Pain Diagnostics since July 2015.
